Position Title Bartender and Concession Attendants (Casual)
Position Summary
The Bartender and Concession Attendant assists in the operations of the Bar and Concession service throughout Red Deer Polytechnic and its facilities. This position supports events scheduled by internal and external user groups of the facilities.
Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Bartender and Concession Attendant include:
  • Provides quality, responsible bar and concession service for RDP venues
  • Sets up, cleans up, restocks the bar and concession area
  • Cashes out at the end of the shift
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent to about 12 years of schooling
  • Pro-serve certificate
  • Excellent people skills, organization, adaptability and flexibility
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • First Aid/CPR
Preferred Qualifications
  • Approximately six (6) months experience
Salary or Hourly? Hourly
Salary $17.98/hour
Benefits and Compensation Information
An additional 15% of the hourly rate in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays and benefits.
